TX70U-IT/71U-IT App and Website Stuck on Wet Or N/C

La Crosse Alerts Mobile data can appear "stuck", where the LCD says Dry, but the software says Wet or N/C. While the system self-recovers, this is most commonly caused by a weak or bad battery. Proceed as follows:
  • Remove the batteries from the sensor
  • Press the button on the sensor 25 times (Important!, this drains residual power)
  • Insert a new set of batteries, preferibly dated at least 7 years out
If this does not resolve it:
  • power cycle the gateway
  • along with removing sensor batteries (as above)
In a rare circumstance, the wet probe is damaged. This usually coincides with the LCD also giving an incorrect reading.
