Router* Trouble Checklist
- Verify you have a router (search model number on internet)
- Reboot all (modem, router, switch, PC); check PC retains internet service
- Check router has DHCP enabled to assign IPs
- Only 1 device should have DHCP enabled to avoid IP conflict
- Check router allows enough IPs for all location devices
- Check lease length to retain an IP is not too short
- Check if MAC filter is enabled; use static ip info to get gateway MAC address
- Check router port with another device to ensure good
- Add a switch if the router is out of LAN ports
